About the Club

The Redmond Kiwanis Club has been serving our community since the Club was formed on January 14, 1976.  The club is composed of men and women who, at the local level, take part in a variety of service projects for the community and fund raising activities to support these projects. Together, a group community minded men and women can achieve what individuals cannot do alone. To learn more, join us at any of our meetings.

Ms. K is part of a member recognition program for the Redmond Kiwanis Club.  The program is a fun way to recognize club members, and a good way to know members through the travels of Ms. K.  For more information about Ms. K and her travels, see Ms. K’s Travels.

The meetings are similar to Kiwanis meetings the world over — an inspirational opening, reports on current projects, and usually a program. The programs offer members a chance to hear about a variety of topics, from those in education, the justice system, and arts and entertainment, just to name a few.

Club meetings are held each week on Friday and start at 7:00 a.m., ending at about 8:00 a.m. The meetings are held at the Family Pancake House, 17621 Redmond Way, Redmond.  Breakfast is optional, if you wish to eat breakfast, you may order from the menu.

If you would like to attend a Club meeting, please contact President Byron Shutz (425-301-6386), and we will make arrangements for you to attend a meeting.
